A Message From Our Pastor

Reflections on 2021

"We've been surrounded and battered by troubles, but we're not demoralized; we're not sure what to do, but we know that God knows what to do..." 1 Corinthians 4:8 (MSG).

Throughout all of 2021, the COVID-19 Pandemic that began in January 2020, continues to threaten the wellbeing of our church, community and world. Even so, though this time of trial has tested our patience, we have remained steadfast in our resolve to G.R.O.W. in our love for God and service to all of God's creation. I am thankful for all of the encouraging signs of grace that I have seen in our members. From those who have built a supportive community as they worship in the parking lot, to those who occasionally check in with our shut-ins and less active members - God's grace has been present. I am especially thankful for our church leadership who continue to wisely and faithfully work diligently for our church and community. I am inspired by how our leaders continue to look toward the future that God has for us; which is often expressed in these ways:

"When we get over this pandemic, we need to be ready... we need to take advantage of the time we have right now to get things done..."

I am blessed to serve with our leaders knowing that God honors such faith. I also am grateful for the faithful financial support of our members and friends. Without your faithful support we would be distracted by the immediate needs instead of the future God has for us. THANK YOU!!!

I invite you to continue participating in what God is doing through our beloved Church. And know that as God continues to open doors for us to serve the world he loves so much. We would not be able to do as much without your continued willingness and response to God’s call to be in mission with Him.

I am looking forward to what God is going to do in and through our beloved church community over the next year.

Blessings and Grace to you,

Pastor Edwin
