To support local, county, state, national and international missions through:

• Establishing a thoughtful vision and develop the ministry in accordance with that vision

• 
  Increase congregational participation in world missions

• 
  Aid members of the local church in responding to God’s call to missions

• 
  Prepare the annual missions budget and present it for approval

• 
  Visit areas of priority or focus of the church

• Develop policy and procedures related to the ministry

 This team exists to be a “Welcoming” group of people to those interested in finding a church family to the community as guests of our church/activities, and to be a support group to those that have made the commitment to become members of LMUMC.

The Trustees oversee, maintain, and supervise all local church property. This includes the grounds outside and the playground. We continue to update the building and keep it up to code and safe for all.

In conjunction with the LMUMC Board of Trustees, our TEAM desires to direct & maintain our congregation’s historic Salem Cemetery in a manor that honors all of the saints of our congregation that are laid to rest there.

The purpose of the children and youth ministry is to support and develop the spiritual and social needs of our children and youth through programs that help G.R.O.W young followers of Jesus as one connected body of Christ. The goal of this ministry is to create a space to facilitate young people realizing their purpose and passion in Jesus Christ as they seek him in all components of their life. Objectively, we hope to facilitate this growth in faith through transformational discipleship, meaningful and intentional programming, parent partnerships, volunteer relations, and student leadership.

The Worship team consists of leaders from chancel care, communion stewards, fellowship hosts, greeters, liturgists, music, tech, ushers, acolytes/youth and welcome committees. It is our objective to plan and coordinate meaningful worship experiences for the congregation, both in sanctuary and on-line.

The memorial team goal is to utilize funds, which have been received in memory or honor of a loved one, in a way to carry on their memory to the glory of God. This year, we have began the “Journey through Grief” book series. It consists of a series of four books which we send to a church family member who has lost a loved one.

The Membership team takes care of members new and old. Our team keeps a track of the attendance and contact information of our members. This past a new directory including a photo set up was pursued. They continually reach out to members that have lost touch, moved away or are stuck at home to keep the connection between us, them and God together.
