At LMUMC, we actively encourage children and youth to grow in their faith and leadership by taking part in our worship service as well as through dedicated ministries and special activities.

 

Say Yes to a VBS Road Trip!

Lake Mills United Methodist Church and Lake Mills Moravian Church are excited to team up again for Vacation Bible School! Children 4k-4th grade during the 2025-26 school year are invited to come along on this year's adventure as we explore God's goodness on the open road. Learn more here.

Join us Aug. 4-7 from 4-6:30 pm at the Lake Mills United Methodist Church, 271 E. Prospect St.

 

Dinner will be provided. Cost is $7 per participant, $10/two participants, and $20 per family (scholarships available). Payment is due on or before the start of VBS. Please make checks payable to LMUMC (memo: VBS). Church office hours are Mon/Thurs/Fri 8 am-1pm

2025 Mission Trip: June 15-20

In June, 13 youth and 4 adults from Lake Mills will travel to Kenosha, Wisc., for their service-oriented mission trip. The focus of this year's mission trip is to serve those who suffer from food insecurity, poverty, homelessness, and loneliness. Every other year, the youth are encouraged to join our short-term outreach project for an opportunity to share the Gospel while serving others and exploring their own faith. Students taking part in the Group Missions Trips "Go Serve" event will strive to understand how God provides the tools to embrace a fulfilling Christian life.​​​

Summer Camp 2025​

Confirmation Class

A Confirmation Class is offered every other year, and our next session is starting this October. Students will be welcomed into the congregation during a church service in May. If you have any questions, please contact our Youth Ministry Leaders using the email address below.
